It’s finally my favorite month of the year, which means all of the Featured Tournaments this month are also my favorite tournaments of the year….right? The tournaments this week are kicking off a wonderful October, so let’s have some fun with this.
Here at All is Brawl we love our tournaments! We love everything about them, from the intense hardcore matches to meeting new people! And to show our unconditional love we’ve decided to highlight some of these tournaments, ya’know spread the word and maybe get some more people interested in going to these tournaments.
Every week a few tournaments will be featured, coming from all over the world! They will include online tournaments as well as in person tournaments. So we’ve got almost everybody covered!
This Week In Person:
Are You Ready For This?: Not many people know of the smash community in Alabama, but there is, in fact, one. Duke Nukem and D4rkM3t are proof of this and will be hosting the next big tournament in Mobile, Alabama. It all happens on October 3rd at La Quinta Inn. Doors open at 10:00am CST with events starting at 11:00am. There will be a $5 venue fee for both players and spectators. Cost for Brawl singles is $10 per person, $10 per team, and (if there is enough time) $5 for Brawl+ singles. There will be food to eat in the area and some other side setups of BlazBlue and SF4. If you live in the area come and join in the competitive smash scene of Alabama.
- LoLiS2: SCOTU, famous and popular host tournament, is running another fabulous tournament. This one is the second in the new Midwest circuit. Big names are coming to this for both Melee and Brawl so you know this is not one to miss. Even though the competition will be tough you’ll get your money’s worth of playtime with the round robin pools. In Ann Arbor, Michigan, on October 3rd is when the party starts. 11:30am CST is when the doors open and registration begins; events begin at noon. The four events are Brawl and Melee singles and Brawl and Melee doubles. All events are $10 per person, with a venue fee of $5. The last LoLiS brought in $1200 worth of prizes; let’s make this one even bigger!
This Week Online:
Scion Knights Doubles I: This will be the third tournament noodlehead will host and run and this one should be just as entertaining as the last. This time it’s a double tournament for his clan: Scion Knights. Sadly, this is for clan members only, but if you are curious about joining you should definitely ask the clan leader. Tournament starts at 7:00pm CST on the 4th of October. Meet in the chat room that is normally used for noodlehead’s tournaments. If you get to enter this one, have some fun!
Only three this week; sad, I know. Let’s get some hype for our future tournaments!
