A few days ago, I was thinking to myself and thought, “Wouldn’t it be cool if we knew exactly what made a good Smash player?” So I set out to write about the best qualities of top-notch Smashers.
But I ran into a few problems a few hours into writing an article on that topic. I realized that good players do so many things right that I couldn’t possibly list them all. And I also realized that I had a few good attributes listed but would need to go way more into detail for each to justify writing about them. I basically had a laundry list of quick tips that -- I’ll be honest here -- wasn’t very helpful at all because of its shallowness. I decided at that point that I would leave the mega-gigantic list of good smasher habits for another day. Right then, I needed to pick one good attribute and write just about that.
Which attribute is this? Something extremely simple but vitally important: Good players push their advantages.
