Hey, everyone! Are you guys beginning to get into the holiday spirit? Well, the time is now! The playoffs have arrived, and today's the day we shall congratulate the players and teams who have made it this far! For this fall season's ladders, we would like to congratulate our champion of the singles ladder, Ally; and the champions of the doubles ladder, Flame and Debom of "u lose to us Y"! Great job to you guys for making it to the top! As always, determined by rank, badges will be given out momentarily to these champions as well as to those who made it to the top 64 in singles and top 32 in doubles, but I would like to re-cap on those badges that are distributed (and yes, these come with the blue color for your usernames; though the top 8 are likely getting a different name color).

As this still goes, for all those who finished in the top 8 of the singles ladder will be given invitations to the AllisBrawl Pro Lounge. In addition, the top 4 players and top 2 teams will receive first round byes as they participate in the playoffs. We had 2,313 players on the singles ladder; and 394 teams (788 players) on the doubles ladder! Though there were actually still more players and teams during the last ladder season, this somewhat remained a heavy competition, wasn't it?

There's no surprise we've got a veteran champion on here we all know, and it's none other than Ally! He has been crowed the singles ladder champ for the fifth time as of now. We also send our congrats to Flame and Debom of "u lose to us Y" for also being crowned as doubles ladder champs (and for being undefeated this season)! Debom is a veteran champion in this category, though this will be Flame's first time to earn his Fall Doubles Ladder Champion badge. Nicely done! Anyway, let's move on to the final standings! And for a few similar reminders, it is mandatory for all participants to be on time for their matches and to send PMs of their results to their respective hosts (which is Enrish for both singles and doubles)! If for some reason some of you cannot make it to the scheduled times, then you should send a PM to your host and your opponent about your situation. Of course, you'll be allowed to try to get matches in as early as possible (this especially goes for you Europeans out there!), so there are no worries. Umbre: Start off simple. Who are you on AiB? And what character do you main?

ChocoNaner: ChocoNaner, and I main Diddy.

Umbre: Bananas. Everyone hates them.
    
What do you like most about the AiB ladder? (its strong points)

ChocoNaner: The AiB ladder gives off a lot of match-up experience if you fight the right people and sometimes it's fun when you and your opponent agree to special terms like a low-tier match on certain stages. :3

Umbre: That it does.
  
What drives you to play online? (why do you play online/ladder)

ChocoNaner: Part of it is because lack of transportation to offline tournaments and because I know that I probably won't ever be able to fight some people offline so online is the only way. -.-

Umbre: Ahah, I saw you via livestream at a tourney a week or two ago. Way to step up for those SoCal Diddys.
    
Do you use online as a way to practice for offline? (during the times you go offline)

ChocoNaner: Definitely. Online is similar to training mode to me, it helps know what moves are bad and what won't work in a non-laggy environment. Also helps if you have them reading skillz. ;O

Umbre: So far, it looks like you're the farthest placing Diddy in the bracket. How does that make you feel?

ChocoNaner: I'm meh on that cuz I know ADHD got dq'd, p1's first match was a diddy ditto, and jokes got dq'd too. :S But now I'm focused on fighting through loser's and trying to outplace the diddys that are still in. :0

Umbre: Guarantee you'll do fine. ;p
       
Who's the toughest opponent you've played online?

ChocoNaner: Toughest online would be dabuz, no doubt.

Umbre: What about toughest character for you to fight online?

ChocoNaner: That would differ on the level of lag and how the opponent plays. But in general I'd say Wolf. :X

Umbre: Wolf's side taunt comes in handy vs. that statement. ;p (just kidding)
    
Ok, last question;
    
Do you have any advice for the people out there who wish to improve?

ChocoNaner: Never give up and always try new things. Giving up because you're a stock down or are losing by a high amount of % isn't going to help. Don't give up: there's always a chance for an upset/comeback. And if you repeat something too many times better players will murder you; try to mix things up and take risks. Those are 2 major things that both offline+online have taught me. :]

There are still a little under 2 months left in this Fall season! Time is ticking away and with over $350 in cash prizes in both ladders and several badges to be given out afterwards, there is much to brawl for! It's still early in the season so these rankings could change completely, or almost stay almost the same. We'll see in these upcoming weeks on what happens! Welcome to the fourth Weekly Ladder Update! This week there are two new names in the top 5 (Ally and HolyNightmare) but Clouderz is still holding on to the top spot for the 4th week in a row. Ally is fast on his heels though, could we see last seasons Ladder Champion take over the top spot now that he was switched from Falcon to Snake? Most of last weeks top 32 have remained in tact, but with almost 2,000 having joined the ladder the competition to retain those positions will be extremely high.
