Hello everyone!

My good friend Yoshinendo and I were discussing a banner contest due to the fact that there hasn't been one for the site community in about two years now. Looking at Yoshinendo's blog (asking if anyone wanted another banner contest), the majority of you seems to be highly in favor of it and yes, I totally do agree that's it's way past due for some new banners. So without further delay, Yoshinendo and I now present to you the official 2013 Smash Community Banner Contest. In this contest, participants will compete to make the best looking banners and yes badges will be awarded for the winner, the runner up (second place) and all participants; so even if your entry does not win, you will still receive a badge for participation. So give it all you've got guys and good luck! Here are the rules and details below:

Rules:

(01) Banners must have the "All is Brawl" (AIB) logo featured on them.
(02) Banners must be Smash-related only.
(03) Banners should have a color scheme that fits for the skin that it was meant for.
(04) You may submit entries for any skin or all skins.
(05) If you do decide to submit an entry for all skins, only one entry will be allowed per skin.
(06) Do not make/submit any kind of entries that may be deemed inappropriate by the site rules.
(07) Only one entry submission is allowed per contestant.
(08) Banners must be 964 x 175 pixels.

Voting:

The voting process will be done by a panel of 5 judges and to them is where you will submit your entries. Below is a list of the judges:

Judges:

(01) Yoshinendo
(02) Horsy
(03) CutieMaple
(04) FF Ori_bro
(05) Black Star - Pavel
(06) luckylime

Be sure to privately message your entries to Yoshinendo (with your name included in the private message) with the topic "2013 Banner Contest". All entries will be reviewed by all judges when the deadline approaches so it doesn't matter who you send your entries to. You will have until March 12th at midnight EST (March 11th at 9:00 pm for those who reside on the West Coast) to get your entries in. Let's once again see the creative artistic talents of this wonderful community!

Hello AllisBrawl.  Any plans for summer?  Well, here is a stadium tournament going public on AllisBrawl and YouTube, the third installment of the Stadium Gaming Olympics series, Stadium Gaming Olympics III.  This “tournament” will span most of the summer; however you don’t have to compete in every single stadium mode from all three games of the Super Smash Bros. series, with the addition of Super Smash Flash 2.  The best thing of all, the stadium tournament is free and it’s all online.  All you need is your computer, a recording device, Internet, and your console.  You can basically go anywhere.

Stadium Gaming Olympics III is an international tournament where stadium gamers from around the world compete in stadium modes from Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Smash Flash 2 (demo version).  This stadium tournament is hosted by TKDmaster6467, Treklink256, and the stadium community.

The last two installments were successful, but hopefully this installment of the Stadium Gaming Olympics series will prove more successful than the previous.

Here are all the events of Stadium Gaming Olympics III.  There are 135+ events.  The tournament begins on July 1 and ends on August 12, 2012.

July 1-8, 2012: Break the Targets

The goal of these modes is to break all ten targets as fast you can.  However, that’s not always the case.  There will be Screwed up Stadium, where you have to break all the targets using one move only or no jumps, etc.  Screwed up Stadium is basically a mode within a mode.  You do challenges in a stadium mode, in this case Break the Targets.  All Break the Targets for Brawl consists of 5 difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, and Intense.  These will be the five separate categories for Brawl.  You can play just one, all of them, or none.  The events listed below include:
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl
    • Break the Targets Level 1-5
    • Co-op Break the Targets
    • Screwed up Stadium Break the Targets
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee
    • Break the Targets
    • Mismatch Break the Targets
    • Screwed up Stadium Break the Targets
  • Super Smash Bros.
    • Break the Targets
    • Screwed up Stadium Break the Targets
  • Super Smash Flash 2
    • Break the Targets
July 8-15, 2012: Home Run Contest

The goal of Home Run Contest is to hit the sandbag as far as you can within ten seconds.  You have a home-run bat and a character’s move set.  Like Break the Targets, there will be Screwed up Stadium, except the challenges will be different.  There will be challenges that you may not use the bat at all to using all aerial attacks.  The possibilities of these challenges are endless.  In this stadium mode only, there will be multiple divisions for normal home run contest, so there will be more winners.  Your total high score determines what division you will play in. There’s also this sub-mode called Acrobatic Home Run Contest.  The goal of this is to make the most appealing run using a specific character.  There will be three judges for this mode.  The events listed below for Home Run Contest include:
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl
    • Home Run Contest
      • Iron - (less than 30480m/100000ft)
      • Bronze - (30480m/100000ft - 35052m/115000ft)

  • Participation: 1 point
  • No participation: 0 points

Don’t cheat.  You will get caught.

You cannot submit previously uploaded videos as your entries.  The entry has to be done during the week of the event.

Entries are due at the end of the event’s week.  Make a video response to the event video to earn an automatic point.  These event videos will be uploaded by TKDmaster6467.  (http://www.youtube.com/user/TKDmaster6467).

There will be a certain character(s) that you have to play for a certain event.  The challenges and the characters are randomized.  You can only submit one entry and you can only play that certain character, unless specified otherwise.

By the way, you don't have to participate in every event.  It's a ladder system.  It's like the Olympics.  You know how Michael Phelps participated in 8 swimming events.  You can participate as many as you want or just in one.  It's up to you!

Playoffs ended about two weeks ago after the most chaotic season it has seen in at least three years, if not ever. There was multiple suspicions of people subbing for others, two very large disputes, site problems at least twice on scheduled nights, and issues with Nintendo's server. Nonetheless, even with all that chaos, we managed to finish only a week behind schedule thanks to the dedicated participants. Here are the winners!

Singles:
1st - SlayerZ
2nd - Gonzalo ZeRo
3rd - M to the Ekos
4th - Zorai.

Doubles:
1st - -Randum- + A-Oh
2nd - Killuminati Patg + Mysterion

Congratulations to you all!

With a new season upon us, we're looking to the future. This last two or three months, I've noticed all the comments the members of this site had to say about ladder. There's been statements about how we need more events, that there needs to be more hype, and that playoffs need to be run better. And so today, as with the other recent "times of change" movements, I present to you some of the major changes that you'll see from now on:

1. This season, we're looking to upgrade all of the rules in ladder. We want everything to be as updated and specific as possible so as not to cause confusion, and everyone will know without a doubt when something is okay or not okay to do. Invinciboy and I have already spent multiple hours towards updating the rules, and will continue doing so. That being said this season we will be enforcing the Apex stage list once again this season, and continue to do so for future ladders. The rules have been updated to show which stages the Apex stage list supports, so please make sure you're frequently checking the rules for updates.

2. We are considering the ban of double Meta Knight in Doubles ladder, but first we would like the members' opinion on it. Very soon, we will be posting a poll where you can voice your opinion on the matter.

3. Ladder and playoffs will be hyped once again! Bi-weekly ladder updates will occur on a consistent, rotating schedule, and we're going to have special events for ladder every weekend in order to give players more of a chance to meet the requirements. Meanwhile, Invinciboy and myself will be putting countless hours into hyping the playoffs and seeing what we can do to make things a little easier for everyone.

4. Though all these changes are of significant importance, the most important change will be who's now in charge of ladder. About three months ago, when first working towards the site's revolution, I came to the realization that I can no longer offer the site what it needs by myself. Because of that, I decided I was going to distribute five of my positions to what Neal, JV_, and I felt were the most qualified staff. Though we haven't made a final decision on the other positions, picking the new Head of Ladder was pretty easy. So without further ado, let me introduce the new Head of Ladder: Invinciboy! From now on, he will be in charge of everything that has to do with ladder, including hosting playoffs. For this first season (at least), I will be helping him out. You requested that another person help the host out so things can run smoothly, and so it has been done.

There are more changes we have in mind, but those will be announced later.

---

"That which does not kill us makes us stronger." This famous phrase by Friedrich Nietzche has never meant so much to ladder and playoffs. We survived one hell of a season, and now that we know what needs to be focused on, we're going back to the drawing board and making sure this next season paves a path of improvement. Of course, we're always looking for suggestions. If you have an idea that you feel could improve the ladder system, let us know! There are no right or wrong answers, but please be clear with what you mean. (In other words, don't just say, "The playoffs schedule sucks! Enrish was an *** for using it!")

We hope you all enjoy the changes and proposals we've presented so far, and stay tuned for future updates!
Hello, everyone! With that spooky holiday everyone knows and loves around the corner, we figured there should be some contests to get everyone hyped. Hopefully you all won't be too busy munching on candy, scaring little kids, or hunting ghosts in a creepy mansion with a Poltergust 3000 strapped to your back, to participate. So, without further ado, I present to you the two contests for this year!

1. Pumpkin Carving Contest 2011

This has been featured on the Art District corner of the front page since October 3rd, so I'm sure many of you noticed it. If not, here is the link I speak of. Basically, you take a pumpkin, hack it up, and make a pretty scene from anything Smash-related. Badges are given to those that participate, as well as those that are finalists and winner. So what are you waiting for? Go on out there and find that Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! I mean...interested reader! (P.S. If you have any questions, send a private message or leave a shoutout to Cyanoctopus.)

2. 1st Annual Halloween Costume Competition

A new addition to our contest repertoire. This was something I wanted to give a try last year, but it never got off the ground...until today! The rules for this contest are very simple:

1. Get your Halloween costume together. (No need to buy another one just for this contest; use the one you have. And please don't make your costume inappropriate. Any costume that breaks the site rules on that kind of stuff will be discarded, so keep it PG or so.)
2. Take a picture of yourself in it.
3. Submit it to me, Candyboy, via private message. (If you're dressed as a certain character, say who it is. Including a picture of that character would also be a good idea.)
4. Profit!

After the deadline of November 1st, midnight PST (when the day turns to November 2nd, for those that aren't good with time), an esteemed panel of judges will begin to evaluate the entrants for their effort, creativity, and a couple other categories. Badges will definitely be given out to those that participate and win, and depending on how many participants there are, there could also be one for finalists. I hope you all send in some crazy, cute, or creepy costumes for us to get a good laugh or scare out of!

Well, that's about it for this year. Good luck to those that plan to participate, and Happy Halloween to all you smashers out there!

Hello everyone! Today marks the one-year anniversary of the creation of the Official AIB Trading Card Support Group. I can't say which day testing on the TCG actually began, but the official release was marked on September 27, 2010.

I'm glad that the project was taken so well by the community. There was originally a lot of bad energy floating around the idea when I presented it. Many members and staff believed that the TCG wouldn't take root in the AIB community very well and that the idea was just one more unnecessary addition to the site to keep members from playing Brawl itself.

However, the TCG has flourished even better than I originally imagined that it could. It has been used as a means of entertainment for many of you, a means of rewarding participants in various parts of the site including the Ladder, Contests and various other events over the past year. It also unintentionally became somewhat of a deterrent for users who tended to break the rules more often than necessary.

Overall it's been a good year. I'm happy to have created something that provided a measure of novelty for everyone of AIB and I'm proud that I've provided the site with something that could potentially outlast me as a member and still bring the community together. It's been tough keeping everything up to date as much as possible and work with members in order to manage the system and I'm thankful for those of you who have put time and effort into it and have enjoyed it as much as I have.

I'd like to thank the following people:
  • Nealdt: Without him, none of this would be possible. He did an amazing job of applying it to the site so that everyone could have access to the system. He's done more than I ever expected, and then some, to keep this thing fresh and user friendly. I'm thankful that he even considered my idea and I'm glad to have been allowed to do the things that I've done with it.
  • Midnite: He's done a large number of tasks with helping me manage the system, create new cards and take snapshots. He's had some great ideas that lead to new card designs, and he's helped a ton with users and problems that arose early on in the initial creation of the support group.
  • Hazeo, ASF1ink and Dramakidd: These three did quite a bit of work creating icons, emblems and full card templates for me. Without them, none of the new card designs you see today would even be slightly possible. Sadly, Hazeo and ASF have pretty much left the designer group. I haven't heard much of them lately and I hope they're doing good.
  • Volke Aeno, Sumer and Foodies: These three have provided me with TONS of snapshots in the past and I really would like to say thank you to them. Their work has given us way more than I could have dreamed to work with as far as unique card images and themes. I really do appreciate all the time you must have put into taking so many shots.
There are many of you who have contributed to the TCG in one way or another. I've been sent hundreds of ideas, suggestions, and the occasional snapshot or ten. Xyless allowed me to use his derpy images for the vending machine cards. Chookie, Sakram3nt, Silly, and others have worked with templates or various smaller images we wanted to put on the cards. NinoskaFlores has helped in the design room, and there are many of you who I can't name due to sheer mass that have contributed various smaller tasks. I'd like to thank you all.

Now, to celebrate this year's TCG Anniversary I've created a new category on your MyCards page.

This new Keepsakes category is an expansion on the original TCG idea where members will be able to collect various items that aren't directly TCG related but still are worth the collectable.

Many of you have suggested in the past that the TCG get a category where we create Moderator trading cards and cards that relate to the various aspects of the site. Until now, I've had a hard time with this. Trying to create trading cards and templates with new designs on them that only relate to the site is much harder than you'd think, but last night I had a great idea and so I've planned another approach to remedy this.

This new Keepsakes category will allow members to collect other small tokens about the site that aren't trading cards. These objects will include Booster Pack wrappers, posters, dolls and an endless possibility of new items.

For example, when you buy a booster pack, you will have a 1 in 10 chance that the pack's "wrapper" will still be in tact enough to collect them. Full Wrappers can be recycled for a few points back. Trashed wrappers will be recycled for only 1 point. Then in the future I might make a forge for them .

Other items, such as Posters and different Smash memorabilia that aren't necessarily trading cards, will be collected through different means other than just buying booster packs. As of right now, these items aren't added to the TCG yet and the means of collecting them hasn't been put into work yet, but in time they will be.

Thanks again everyone! I'm glad that this year has been as good as it has, and I hope to keep it going.

*Should a stipend winner not be able to attend Apex 2012 his stipend will then go to the next highest playoff finisher in attendance at Apex 2012.

*Due to a couple people expressing interest in a bit more time the new deadline for applications is Sunday September 11th. Thanks to everyone that has sent in their application already and you can expect to hear back shortly after the new deadline*

Several years after the inception of AiB (the very first, and closest to home of the Allis Network sites) it is safe to say it has been quite a ride.

What started as a couple dudes trying to create something better for a smash community they called home for a large part of their life has grown and changed in ways we had never imagined.

But I am not going to get too nostalgic with reflecting here. Where we currently are at is as the network has grown so has the level of responsibilities and sheer amount of things to do. It has made it difficult to keep up. A large credit goes to our staff, our writers, artists, and all the people who have volunteered their time and effort to make contributions through-out the years in maintaining such strong home for the community, for the people that care about a game to interact and be a part of something. But that does not mean there are not opportunities to do more and be better. So with that we are looking for people that can really contribute to making this site, and this network a better place. And as such, I am happy to say we are now taking applications for the first ever official AiN interns!

The roles we are looking for come in two forms.

1. Business/Management/Marketing - This individual(s) would work closely with me on growing, improving, managing, and marketing this thing we call AiN. You would be involved in conversations about where we are, where we want to go, and how in the hell we plan to get there. An idea facilitator and master of crafting digital landscapes.

Requirements: Someone capable and responsible. Willing and able to carry out tasks, work with and manage staff, and just be a constant positive force in general AiN improvement. Some understanding of business, marketing, or management is desirable.

*Please provide a resume and a short cover letter as to why you think you would do great in this role.*

2. Programming/Ideas to tangible parts of the sites - This individual(s) would work closely with Neal on taking the dev initiatives we have and turning them into reality. Creative input into what projects and ways to improve, helping to prioritize our dev effort would also be part of the to role.

Requirements: Should have strong familiarity with the C# programming language; intermediate knowledge of HTML and web design concepts; and passing familiarity with database programming and design.

*Please provide a short paragraph detailing your programming experience. Feel free to also link to any work you have done*

Both roles are unpaid internships. That, however, does not change the fact it is a great work experience and life experience. Very few people in their life can say they made lasting dev contributions or helped manage and grow a site, a community, of tens of thousands of people. Looking back I think that is something anyone can be proud of. And it looks hella good on a resume and we would be happy to stand as a positive reference for you in the future.

All applications should be sent to contact@allisbrawl.com . The deadline is Saturday September 3rd. We will only be selecting a few people this go around. But should it go well, who knows we may make this a more regular thing or these people may become more permanent fixtures.

Greetings everyone, it's been a long road since I announced the 2011 Smash Election back in late April, and I'm pleased to announce that we have our winners for the election chosen. It was a very tight race, and really did come down to the last competition, but the ticket that managed to come out on top to win the election is Vermanubis and dmbrandon!

I would like to congratulate these two on their hard work this election, and for being the new AiB President and Vice President of course. I had a lot of fun hosting this election and I hope everyone who participated had fun as well. I hope you all look forward to having a new President/Vice President, and also look forward to having another Smash Election in the future (If we end up having another).

Thanks again to everyone who participated in this from the candidates to supporters, and I hope you enjoyed the final AiB 2011 Smash Election Update.
Greetings everyone! The election is coming to an end soon, and I'm here to announce the final event for the AiB 2011 Smash Election. This will be the popular vote competition where all of the hard work and campaigning the tickets have put into this election so far shows. The rules are pretty simple, I'll have a poll put up on the front page this Friday (with the help of Neal), and it'll be closed Sunday at midnight PST. The tickets with the top three votes will earn points for their team, so get the word out for your campaigns and tell all your supporters to vote for you!

Also, I'd like to announce the results of the last competition, the Card Creation Contest. I had a lot of good submissions for this, but only 3 tickets can receive points from this contest. The top three tickets are Verm/Diem earning 100 points, Bloodynite/Zano came out in 2nd place earning 60 points, and 3rd place was hard to choose, but it ended up going to Afro/Gardex earning them 40 points. With the new points assigned, here is the current standings for the Smash Election:

1. Carls/Pavel - 260
2. Vermanubis/Diem - 200
3. Bloodynite/Zano - 160
4. AfroTwist VanillaPie/GardoTwist ChocolatePie - 120
5. Meek/Salem - 100
6. Eggz/BoJ - 60
6. Ivy73/HavocReaper48 - 60
7. Raffi/Sak - 40

This last competition will be the deciding factor in this contest! And don't forget about the points that will be rewarded for the winners of the Mascot Tourney (which I'll be announcing sometime this week). I hope all of you vote for the ticket you want to win this election, and I'll see you all in the next and final update.

Hey everyone, it's time for another update on the 2011 Smash Election! Today I have a new event to announce for all of our participants to take part in. I talked to a lot of the participants, and most of them requested we host 1 more event, so I'm here to bring you 1 last event before the final popular vote. This event is going to be a Card Creation Contest. Each ticket will be asked to create a TCG card supporting their side. This can represent anything from your ticket having your mascot, a slogan, etc. The rules are pretty simple:

1. You must create your own template for the card. (No using any of the existing TCG ones)
2. You will be judged on effort, creativity, and card composition (how it's set up)
3. Only 1 submission per ticket, but feel free to make as many as you would like.
4. PM your submissions to my inbox please.
5. As far as the layout (points, rarity, etc.), you will need a title, picture, point value, and rarity, but everything else is up to you.
6. Entries must be in by Saturday at midnight, EST.

I hope you guys all enjoy this new event we through together for you, and I'll be looking forwarding to seeing what types of cards you can think up for your entries.

As far as the current standings of the election. I have the updated standing for you all, reflecting the changes from the Smash Trivia event. In Smash Trivia we had team Carls/Pavel come out on top with 10 points, team Ivy73/HavocReaper48 in 2nd place with 7 points, and Gardo/Afro rounded up the top three after a three way tie breaker question with 5 points. Here are the current standings to reflect these results:

1. Carls/Pavel - 260
2. Meek/Salem - 100
2. Bloodynite/Zano - 100
2. Vermanubis/Diem - 100
3. AfroTwist VanillaPie/GardoTwist ChocolatePie - 80
4. Eggz/BoJ - 60
4. Ivy73/HavocReaper48 - 60
5. Raffi/Sak - 40

Good luck to everyone with your card creations, and I'll see everyone in the next election update!

Hey guys, we're coming down to the wire with the 2011 Smash Election! It's been a couple weeks so far, we've had some fun events, and we only have two more to go before we decide the 2011 president and vice president. This past week I hosted the Ad Competetion, and I had some pretty hood entries, but only three groups can earn points for their tickets. It was pretty hard to pick, but the top three placers in the Ad Competition are Bloodynite/Zano earning 100 points, Carls/Pavel in 2nd picking up 60 points, and Verm/Hyuga at 3rd with 40 points. I really liked all of the ads, and hopefully you guys use them to advertise your tickets in these last few weeks.

As far as this week goes, I'll be hosting the Smash Trivia Competition. This event will be hosted Thursday June 16th, at 9pm EST. I'm sorry this can't be on a Friday or Saturday, but I'm busy these days, and I'm sure most people are out of school by now or will be soon. This will be hosted in the Smash Talk chat room. I hope everyone shows up and studies up on some smash knowledge for this competition. I'll have a few people asking questions with me, so look forward to a variety of questions, and although this competition is only open to the ticket members, I'll still add on points for those of you who guess correctly toward earning Smash Trivia badges; so you can earn points for your tickets and possible badges for yourself from this event!

I'd like to close this announcement with the current standings of the 2011 Smash Election after the last contest. The standings as of now are:

1. Carls/Pavel - 160
2. Meek/Salem - 100
2. Bloodynite/Zano - 100
2. Vermanubis/HyugaRicdeau - 100
3. Eggz/BoJ - 60
4. Raffi/Sak - 40
4. AfroTwist VanillaPie/GardoTwist ChocolatePie - 40

Keep up the hard work everyone and I'll be looking forward to seeing you all this Thursday night!
Hey everyone, I hope you're all enjoying the AiB 2011 Smash Election so far! I'm here with another announcement for our nominees as to what they'll be asked to do this week. This week's competition is going to be an Ad Competition. I'm asking each ticket to produce some sort of advertisement promoting their ticket. This can be a commercial, banner, flyer, anything. You can talk about what your ticket represents, use your mascot to draw in more support, or use a witty slogan or video to gain followers who prefer that sort of approach. You'll have until the end of this week, Friday June 10th at midnight PST to have an advertisement ready. You can place this ad in blogs, on your support groups, or where ever you would like, but you MUST PM me your ad as well. You'll be judged on creativity, clarity of the message, effort, and overall satisfaction with the ad. Please follow all site rules when making the ads, and I hope you guys have fun with this challenge.

Also, since the last announcement, I have the results of the last two events, and have an updated list of the current standing in the election. Here's a link to the final bracket image from the doubles tourney last Monday for those curious as to how that played out:

http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/4981/electionfinal.gif

We has Meek/Salem coming out on top, undefeated, and earning their ticket 100 points. Eggz/BoJ has a run in with Meek/Salem causing their first lose, but managed to fight through loser's bracket to earn 2nd place, and 60 points. Raffi/Sak round up the tourney at 3rd earning 40 points.

As far as the Group Decoration contest, we had a lot of groups fighting for first, but only one could come out on top. First place in this contest goes to the Carls/Pavel ticket, with an average score of 82.6, second place goes to Vermanubis/HyugaRicdeau with an average of 79.4, and round out the top three is AfroTwist VanillaPie/GardoTwist ChocolatePie with an average score of 72.5

This puts the current standings at a 2 way tie for the top three places currently being:

1. Meek/Salem - 100
1. Carls/Pavel - 100
2. Eggz/BoJ - 60
2. Vermanubis/HyugaRicdeau - 60
3. Raffi/Sak - 40
3. AfroTwist VanillaPie/GardoTwist ChocolatePie - 40

There's still a ton of events left, and a lot more chances to earn points. Good luck to everyone in the ad competition this week, and I'll be looking forward to giving the next Smash Election announcement soon.
Hey everyone, it's been a while since I announced the Beach Ball Creation Contests a few weeks ago, but I'm happy to announce that I finally have the results ready for you all. It took a while after I got all of the submissions gathered to get the admins to decide on which ones they would want to add to the site, but after some deliberation, they finally decided on the 10 new additions we'll be making. Three of the winning submissions had their descriptions changed, so I hope the creators don't mind this slight altercation too much, but otherwise all of the other winning submissions are unchanged.

That being said, here are the 10 new beach balls you can look forward to being added to AiB, in no particular order:

PSN Ball
It only does everything, which apparently now includes identity theft and lawsuits.

Snake's Box
It's show time!

Wheatley
AAAAA . . . C?

Tanooki Ball
The only time a grown man should ever wear a raccoon suit.

Green Luma Ball
Every Green Star started somewhere.

Sandvich Ball
What was that, Sandvich? "Kill them all"? Good idea!

Spellman Ball
I'd hit that...

Turnip
The one time it's okay to play with your food.

Samus' Gunship
Because every bounty hunter needs one.

Shine Sprite
Gotta collect 'em all!

To be expected, the creators of these beach balls will be the first ones they will be passed to. Thanks to everyone who participated in this contest, and I hope everyone enjoys these new additions to the site.
Greeting everyone, it's time for another announcement for the AiB 2011 Smash Election! I hope you've all been enjoying the election so far. I've been having fun hosting the mascot tourney and seeing all of the tickets rallying for support for their causes. I'd like to apologize about not being able to have the Doubles Tourney everyone has been looking forward to last week, but I'll for sure be hosting it tonight at 8 PM EST, so no need to wait any longer for that. I apologize for all the date changes, and I know some people might have issues with this date; however no date (including the original one I made) works for everyone, so just try your best to make it and if you can't there are still more events to make up points in, so no need to worry.  Also, just an idea I was recently mentioned. If only one team member can show up, I'll allow the other to enter with a level 9 computer reprsenting their mascot. That should make things a little interesting. lol

Furthermore, I'd like to announce this week's contest. I'll be hosting a group decoration contest in collaboration with Miles of SmashWiki. This contest will involve you and your supporters customizing your support groups to advertise your tickets to the members of AiB. You'll be judged on creativity, effort, theme, and overall satisfaction. You can throw a bunch of cool pics of your mascot on your group page, make up cool slogans, or think of anything else that will make your groups shine over the other ones. Each ticket will have until this Friday, June 3rd at midnight EST, to have their groups finalized. We'll judge them over the weekend and reveal the winners in next week's update.

I'll be looking forward to seeing how creative you can get with your groups this week, and even more so to tonight's Doubles Tourney. Good luck to everyone and I hope you have fun!

The Content Team is looking for Videographers. There are a ton of videographers in the community that make a video, put it on YouTube, and then it gets around 300 views. Why does this happen? AiB has the power to spread that video between hundreds of players on a daily basis. Not to mention that those players will show their friends and then those friends will spread it between their friends, until the video that started with 300 views can have 1500, maybe even a 3000.
