Many of you have noticed that the flow of content on this site has become sluggish. Sure a few more articles are getting posted here and there, but it's certainly not enough, and many of you have requested that the Content Team step up its game. Well folks, I'm here today to tell you all that the revitalization starts now. It's time to make the front page lively again!

For starters, Miles of SmashWiki and I took a look at all of the members we had and purged all of the ones that were inactive. After cleaning house, we were left with a small (but awesome) core of individuals to bring you, the readers, content. However, this core lacks the numbers and types of contributors we need to truly bring you the rebirth of all that is good, amazing, and holy in AiB Content Land. That's why this article has been made: to fill the potholes and recruit new members. We're looking for bright, new faces that are willing to be active writers and contribute top-notch content that the community wants to read, and we're hoping some of you answer the call!

To make the selection process easier and clarify what we're looking for, we've divided the content we wish to produce into four sections (with descriptions for each). Here's the list to choose from:

1. Offline Tournament Coverage: Writers in this category will be expected to write about upcoming tournaments, participate in covering major events (Apex, WHOBO, SiiS, etc.)via things like live blogs and Twitter updates, post tournament wrap-up articles and information compilations, cover general happenings for smash scenes in various regions, and so on. Note: This is what we'll be recruiting the most applicants for, as content's been bone dry for this category and we want to do better.

2. Interviews: Content like this requires aspiring content contributors who like to be sociable, are up on the scene, and have the ability to ask questions the community wants to hear! As the name implies, this is the category for those who wish to interview top players, well-known hosts, or any other significant figures in the Smash community.

3. Videos: Tired of replay blogs not getting recommended? Do you have a video camera and regularly record footage of happenings at offline events? Interested in doing a video blog about what's happening in your local scene or the smash community? If so, apply to be a videographer!

4. Miscellaneous: As Enrish mentioned in his article, "Positive Change for AiB," we're going to try to provide entertainment for both the competitive and non-competitive users. All of these users are part of our community, and we want to do our best to cater to them. For this category, we're looking for writers that have ideas for creative pieces of content that'll be engaging, fun, and interesting for everyone. Note: We'll only take a small amount of applicants for this compared to other topics, but don't let that stop you if you've got a great idea!

Feel free to include anything you want in the application (resumes, sample writings, etc.) that you believe will show us why you deserve a spot. Please note, however, that it's required that you have some idea of what you wish to write about, so please make sure to clearly state it. (And don't put something down just to put something down; while you can easily write articles for more than one category or change from one to another, YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO WRITE SOMETHING, OR YOU WILL BE REMOVED!) When you feel like you're good to go, send an email to content@allisbrawl.com (and be sure to include your username!) The deadline for applications will be a week from now, March 27th, at midnight PST. After that time, Miles of SmashWiki, lightlanayru, and I will review the applications, make our decisions, and notify all of the applicants once all decisions have been made.

That's about all there is to it. Thanks for taking the time to read, and hopefully contribute to make this community better and rebirth of AiB content successful. We hope to see a huge wave of applicants, and good luck to all that apply!
For those of you who have been around recently you're most likely aware of the many issues we've been having. Whether it's lack of communication between users and staff or just general confusion either way it was clear something needed to change. In my blog, "The Start To A Positive Change" I gave the community a chance to voice their opinion on things that they felt need to be fixed around here. Well, it took some time, but I finally finished gathering all the information and addressed every issue I could. Hopefully everyone is happy with what's provided below!

Issue Resolution – We have added new staff members to watch over the forum. This not only increases the response rate, but will make it so we can get multiple opinions on the situation to come up with the best solution. Along with that Neal has made it so that banned members can now access the forum! Someone suggested we make the forum anonymous, so that the staff members who have the final say are less likely to be biased. Though that is a good idea it isn't something that can happen, because in order to find solutions we often have to see the user's actions (posts) and the infractions they received in the past.

Content
– Invinciboy, lightlanayru and Miles of Smashwiki are currently reconstructing the Content Team to ensure more content is provided in the future. I do want to remind everyone that anyone is welcomed to write and submit an article. As long as the article is appropriate and fits the prerequisites then it will be posted.

Name Changes
– Due to user complaints and confusion of which user is which we will now be limiting name changes to one per month, per member. We'll see how that works to begin with, and adjust accordingly. Make sure if you request a name change you're willing to have it for a month!

Joining Staff
– I don't know if this is something that started before I became Head Admin or not, but asking (not harassing) to join staff does NOT hurt your chances to become staff. Real life tip: Employers love initiative! If you want to join staff just let me know! Now I may not get back to you immediately but I do read every PM sent to me, and I will try to respond to you. Someone asked if we could add a lower position on staff; something like a Scout. For those who haven't been around too long we used to have Chat Moderators where their only job was to look over the chats, but because every staff member has that power we decided to get rid of the position.

Enforcing the Rules, with Warnings
– This was the main reason this whole “revolution” started. We as staff want to make sure that the rules are enforced as they should be. We shouldn't be bias about which rules we enforce. On top of that we are going to be more lenient of first time offenders, and more harsh on repeat offenders, so make sure you read up on those rules!

Bad Staff
– There were a few suggestions to remove the “bad mods” and that the staff shouldn't be rude or vulgar. Remember! If you have a problem with staff to please take it to the Issue Resolution forum. As stated above it has been improved, so you will be heard. At the very least the staff member(s) receiving a complaint will be talked to. Staff members are held to higher standards.

Report Button
– This has been talked about for a long while now. It's a great idea, but only Neal can program it in at the time, so it's up to him if it happens. In the mean time I'm willing to make a topic in the “Site Feedback” board for everyone to report their problems there. Remember though, you can always message your favorite staff member to see if they can assist you!

Recommended Blogs
– Some asked to have a little section on the front page for blogs recommended by users. Once again, for those who are kind of new to the site we used to have the blog section of the front page based on user activity on the blog. Overtime it got a little out of control so it was changed. If you feel a blog should be recommended please either take it to the “Report Button” topic that will be made or ask your favorite staff member. It was also asked that staff members stop recommending blog that have already been recommended. You may not know this because we haven't had four active blogs recommended at once in a while but if there's more than three active recommended blogs at a time then the blogs rotate. The more recommendations a blog receives the better chance it has showing up on the front page during the rotation.

Troll Monitor
– I'm hoping that when this was suggested they were talking about people looking for troll comments, and reporting them because programming such a thing would be very difficult, and faulty. Hopefully everyone in the community is trying to help the site so they're all ready troll monitors. Help the staff clean up the trolls! Report anything you think is considered breaking the rules in the Report topic of the Site Feedback board, or tell your favorite staff members.
Hiring Process – In the blog it was clear that the community wants some say on who is added to the staff. The best formula provided for such a thing to happen was:
  1. Lower Staff recommends
  2. Community adds feedback
  3. Higher Staff makes final decision
This is not something I can promise will happen every time someone new tries to join staff, but in cases where we have a large group of applicants I think it's something I'm willing to do. With that being said, I have recently received multiple applications so this process will be happening within the next week! It will most likely happen through one of my blogs, so keep your eyes open!

Doubles Night
– I know this season we haven't had a single Doubles Night, and that's something I want to change. I'm not sure if it was lack of initiative from the staff or a misunderstanding that any staff member can host it, but I will make sure there are a few Doubles Nights before this season ends. Friendly Reminder: There's less than a month until the season ends!

Widgets
– It was asked that the Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Soul Calibur 5 widgets get added. Once again, this is something only Neal can do. Recently he has been more active, so I'm sure as long as he has all the art work (and I know the UmvC3 was provided) he will make sure it happens.

Revamping Staff – Staff is currently under construction. We'll be adding new members, while removing the inactive ones. There will even be new positions that the staff don't even know about yet!

Specific Rules – If there's any rules you feel should be more specific please let me know and assuming it's approved I will make sure it's updated.

Entertain Non-Brawlers – A friendly reminder that this site is focused for the Smash community. I understand many of us come here for the social aspect now, but it's still for the Smash community. Nonetheless, we try to do what we can with events to provide entertainment, but it can be difficult at times. If you want to create an event to entertain the community let us (the staff) know about it and we'll assist any way we can.

Borderline Images – Up until now we've been decently lenient on what people put on their profiles. Now I think it's about time we get a little more serious about the content seen on this site. Because of that we will now be giving warnings and infractions for any images seen as questionable by the staff. If you see any questionable images please let the staff know and we will be sure to address the issue.

If there is something I missed or something else you wish to be answered then please let me know! I want to make sure everyone enjoys their time on this site, and with this community!
Greeting one and all, and welcome to this season's first Doubles Night! I know how hard it is to find people to challenge in the Doubles Ladder chat sometimes, but I also know how important this ladder is, so we're going to host a few Doubles Nights this season to get things moving.

Doubles night is just a time to come to the doubles chat, play as many matches to your heart's content and earn a cool badge for doing so. This Doubles Night event will be hosted Friday, September 30, 2011, and will run from 6 PM EST – 12 AM EST. Participants at this event will have a shot at earning the double dater badge! To acquire the badge, participants will need to complete a minimum of 3 Doubles Ladder rank matches this Doubles Night, and send me (or host Miles of SmashWiki) a PM after the event if you think your team fulfilled the requirements to obtain the badge. Just have the team captain PM one of us, since it's not really necessary for both members of the team to send me the same PM.

As an added bonus hosts of the night, Miles of SmashWiki and Fandangox, will be hosting Non-Smash Trivia during Doubles Night. For those who are unfamiliar with how Non-Smash Trivia works, it is a contest for knowing certain pieces of information relating to Nintendo games.  For those who know how it works, Miles and Fandangox will be doing things a little differently at this event. Since this is a 6 hour event, we don’t want people just coming by to play three matches for the double dater badge, and calling it a night. We want everyone sticking around the whole night, playing rank matches, earning badges, and having fun; so throughout the night, Miles and Fandangox will be randomly asking Non-Smash Trivia questions. They’ll give notice before asking questions, but if you miss one, you’ll have many more chances throughout the night. All standard Non-Smash Trivia rules apply. Whoever answers first gets a point, they'll keep track of points throughout the night, etc. The top scoring individuals will receive cards, as will whoever correctly answers the difficult Challenge Question!

Now for the new ladder rules!!! Yes, in addition to last articles.
  1. If your partner is banned from the site then you are unable to participate in doubles ladder. You can not substitute your partner, unless you disband. This means if your partner gets banned from the site for a month then your team can not participate in ladder for that month.
  2. You cannot play against family members, or anyone in the same house, but you can play with them as a team.
  3. No one person can play the same team more than once in 24 hours regardless of you switching teams.
And for this season alone, until further notice, we have decided to use Apex's stage list. It was decided since stage lists are already so close and it is the Apex ladder there is no reason not to use Apex's stage list.

Neutrals:
  • Battlefield
  • Final Destination
  • Yoshi’s Island (Brawl)
  • Smashville
  • Lylat
Counter Picks:
  • Castle Siege
  • Delfino Plaza
  • Halberd
  • Pokemon Stadium 1
  • Frigate Orpheon

For anyone unfamiliar with the recent changes made to the ladder please check out, "The Road to Apex: Online Edition!". As I've stated before Neal is the only one that can change the ladder rules page, and because of his busy schedule I'm unsure how soon he'll be able to change it. Until further notice (or he changes the page to match the updated rules) please refer to this article and the one linked above for the rules. Anything not addressed in the articles can be found in the FAQs or Rules. If you are unsure of anything after reading everything please feel free to ask me.

Once again please give big thanks to our sponsors vVv-Gaming, and Apex2012 for making this ladder so special! We hope to see everyone at Doubles Night, and good luck to everyone!
Greeting everyone, it's time for another announcement for the AiB 2011 Smash Election! I hope you've all been enjoying the election so far. I've been having fun hosting the mascot tourney and seeing all of the tickets rallying for support for their causes. I'd like to apologize about not being able to have the Doubles Tourney everyone has been looking forward to last week, but I'll for sure be hosting it tonight at 8 PM EST, so no need to wait any longer for that. I apologize for all the date changes, and I know some people might have issues with this date; however no date (including the original one I made) works for everyone, so just try your best to make it and if you can't there are still more events to make up points in, so no need to worry.  Also, just an idea I was recently mentioned. If only one team member can show up, I'll allow the other to enter with a level 9 computer reprsenting their mascot. That should make things a little interesting. lol

Furthermore, I'd like to announce this week's contest. I'll be hosting a group decoration contest in collaboration with Miles of SmashWiki. This contest will involve you and your supporters customizing your support groups to advertise your tickets to the members of AiB. You'll be judged on creativity, effort, theme, and overall satisfaction. You can throw a bunch of cool pics of your mascot on your group page, make up cool slogans, or think of anything else that will make your groups shine over the other ones. Each ticket will have until this Friday, June 3rd at midnight EST, to have their groups finalized. We'll judge them over the weekend and reveal the winners in next week's update.

I'll be looking forward to seeing how creative you can get with your groups this week, and even more so to tonight's Doubles Tourney. Good luck to everyone and I hope you have fun!

Hey there AllisBrawl reader, it’s that time of the year again, and I hope you’re enjoying it as much as I am. The time to relax from school, spend time with family and friends, and check out AiB for the latest contests and competitions to take part in with all your new found free time.

Following suite with all of the Halloween contests we hosted not too long ago, we here on the AiB staff are proud to bring you all a slew of fun and entertaining contests this holiday season as well! Whether you’re into arts and crafts, a puzzle solver, or someone who likes creating things, we’ve got something for everyone to take part in that I’ll be talking about for this AiB Holiday Contests write up!

First up, the traditional contests we see frequently while visiting AiB are having a holiday themed twist thrown on to them.

Weekly Screenshot Contest

First up on the line up of contests is the ever popular Screenshot of the Week contest. If you think you have an artistic eye, or enjoy taking snapshots and pictures whenever the urge hits you, then this is definitely the contest for you. Screenshot of the Week #39 will be sporting a Holiday theme brought to you by Admiral Arban.

Signature of the Week

If you’re big on graphics design, and like making your own art work and signatures, then the Signature of the Week contest is where you’ll want to compete. Doro will be hosting SotW #59 with a Holiday theme this time around, so show off your best artistic skills in this week’s competition.

Texture of the Week

There’s a hacker in all of us, and whether you’re a seasoned haxor or a homebrew rookie, you might be interested in this week’s Texture of the Week #15 is giving you a chance to make some holiday themed textures to enjoy while battling it out with your friends. Look forward to texture experts Silent Nite and HyperKeeby to host a great competition and to possibly include some awe-inspiring submissions themselves.

Who's That User?

Jingleboy is back with another Who’s that User? Contest, but this time around is a little different. He’ll be sharing the holiday story from one lucky user with all of us. If you have a hilarious or amazing story to share from a past holiday experience then make sure to drop Jingleboy a PM with your story so it has a chance to be chosen when this edition is published.

With the regular contests out of the way, time to get to talking about the not so frequent contests that we’re hosting specifically for the holiday season here on AiB!

Holiday Cookie Competition

Jingleboy is introducing a new contest this year unique to these AiB Holiday Contests. This will be a Holiday Cookie Contest where members will be asked to create a cookie desert item of their choice in this competition for a chance at some brand new badges! If you’re into baking or making Holiday treats that you’d enjoy eating after all the hard work you put into it then feel free to give this competition a shot.

AiB Winter Banner Contest

We all enjoyed the Halloween banner contest, but I think we’ve all enjoyed the winning banners from that contest for a while now. Zolga is bringing us all a Winter Banner Contest for us to enjoy some Winter themed banners for this time of the year. If you want your banner to be seen by everyone on the site, then don’t hesitate to enter this contest for any or all five of the current AiB skins.

Stage Contest

Jarvitz is bringing back the Stage Builder Contest that we all enjoyed for Halloween, but this time we’re presented with a Holiday Custom Stage Contest. Just like last time, there will be two different categories you can enter to win in, a regular stage contest and a contest with hacks. If you enjoy making your own stages, or want to give it a shot, then you’ll enjoy this contest.

Decorative Profile Event

The Decorative Profile Contest started last year for the Holidays, and it makes its grand return with the ’10 Holiday Decorative Profile Contest. Check out the group to sign up to have your profile judged by Miles of SmashWiki and this season’s other judges, as well as read the rules for this season’s competition. Take the chance to get into the spirit of the Holidays by decorating your profile for this contest.

AiB Karaoke Contest

A contest we’ve only held once so far is being brought back with a Holiday spin on it. I’m talking about the AiB Karaoke Contest! Shiro The SnowWolf will be hosting a Holiday edition of the Karaoke contest where everyone will be asked to sing their favorite Holiday song. Check out his blog about it for more details regarding this contest, and to enter for your chance to win.

‘Tis the season for giving, and the AiB staff is being extremely generous this year with so many different opportunity for our members to compete and win so many badges and prizes, it’s almost impossible to not get into the Holiday spirit because of this.

We hope to see everyone compete, have fun, and enjoy themselves this Holiday season! ^^

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.  As you may have noticed, October is upon us and autumnal feelings are everywhere.  A chilling and frightening atmosphere is looming -- ah, you've felt it as well?  And where else would you go in the time leading up to Halloween but your old haunt: All is Brawl?

There are a number of fun and exciting activities for this month following the theme of Halloween, and you're invited to participate in any or all of them!  Welcome the opportunity for a challenge and competition!  Let's get into the contests you'll have to choose from, shall we?  We'll begin with our recurring contests and their special Halloween editions!

Weekly Screenshot Contest

For you who are masters of snapshots within Brawl itself, we have just the competition for you!  Weekly Screenshot Competition #37 is designed for your Halloween enjoyment.  Will your skills at in-game photography net you the victory?  This contest is managed by none other than the Augured to be Awe-inspiring Arban.

Signature of the Week

Maybe you'd rather apply your skills to computer graphics?  Look no further than SOTW #57 - Halloween!  Do your skills match up with AiB's top graphical artists?  Can you sign your way to becoming this contest's winner?  This competition is managed by the Diabolical Duo of Doro and Revenant.

Texture of the Week

Are you the most elite of hackers?  Care to try your hand at designing an appropriately Halloween-themed texture hack for Brawl?  Drop on by to the TotW 14 - Halloween and submit your entry.  Will your design earn you the title of Texture Master?  This contest is managed by the Malevolent Midnite and the Horror HyperKeeby.

Who's That User?

Think you've got a better chance of spotting users out of a crowd? Go for the gold in Who's That User? #13 (Halloween Hunt). The special twist for this particular edition can be found in Who's That User? #12, so be sure to check out that edition for all the info! This contest is managed by the Icy Invinciboy.

And now for our four special events!  These are rare opportunities here, folks!

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Back circa a certain Halloween crash, there was a contest to carve your own pumpkin (in real life folks!) for a competition.  Now it's back and looking to bring excitement to the realm of jack-o'-lanterning!  What shapes can you conceive of for your entry?  Can you carve your way to the top of the pumpkin patch?  See entries from '08 and submit your own work in the Pumpkin Carving Contest!  forum thread.  This contest is managed by the Sinister Sumer.

AiB Banner Contest

Four Five skins.  Two badges.  One chance for victory.  The AiB Graphics Department is looking for Halloween banners designed by YOU -- members of the AiB community.  Your banner, if selected, will grace the site's most seen location at the top of every page.  Drop by the Official Banner Contest Thread for more information, and look for your entry at the top of the site come the end of the month!  This contest is managed by the Zen of Fright Zolga.

Stage Contest

Are you a master architect?  Looking to compare your skills in Brawl's Stage Builder?  Try out the brand new Halloween Custom Stage Contest and see if your stage can become the site of the most climactic of Halloween fights!  Can you bring home the gold in construction?  This contest is managed by the Jarring Jarvitz.

Decorative Profile Event

Maybe you want to stick to just dressing up your own profile for Halloween.  Don't think the competition won't be fierce just because you're decorating, though.  The variety of entries to this contest are always incredible and exciting.  You can make your way to the AiB Decorative Profile Events group for more details.  Submissions will be judged by a panel of five judges, headed by yours truly, the Mysterious Miles of SmashWiki.

Badge prizes abound for these contests, and winners may also find that they have earned rarer trading cards for their efforts.  These are in addition to the bragging rights, of course.

We hope to see you around!  Keep an eye out for ghosts and have fun!

It’s that time again: when the AiB doubles chat is flooded with challengers ready to play some matches, earn some badges, and have fun!

I know how hard it is to find people to challenge in the Doubles Ladder chat sometimes, since most people play Singles more often, but we here at AiB like to host a Doubles Night every so often to get the Doubles chat active too.

Doubles night is just a time to come to the doubles chat, play a ladder match, or two, or as many as you want really, and earn a cool badge for doing so. This Doubles Night event will be hosted Friday, September 24, 2010, and will run from 8 PM EST – 12 AM EST. Participants at this event will have a shot at earning the double dater badge! To acquire the badge, participants will need to complete a minimum of 3 Doubles Ladder rank matches this Doubles Night, and send me a PM after the event if you think your team fulfilled the requirements to obtain the badge. I'll ask for just the team captain to send me a PM regarding this, since it's not really necessary for both members of the team to send me the same PM. However, this Doubles Night is going to be a little different than past ones!

That’s right! This Doubles Night will be unlike any other previously hosted on AiB. As many of you know, I’m currently the host of Smash Trivia here on AiB, along with my Co-Host Miles of SmashWiki. We’ll both be present at this Doubles night, so look out for Team Sinister Trivia Masters at this event. Anyone unfamiliar with how Smash Trivia works should check the Official Smash Trivia Group for more info. For those who know how it works, we’ll be doing things a little differently at this event. Since this is a 4 hour event, we don’t want people just coming by to play three matches for the double dater badge, and calling it a night. We want everyone sticking around the whole night, playing rank matches, earning badges, and having fun; so throughout the night, Miles and I will be randomly asking Smash Trivia questions. We’ll give notice before asking questions, but if you miss one, you’ll have many, many more chances throughout the night. All standard Smash Trivia rules apply. Whoever answers first gets a point, I'll keep track of points throughout the night, etc.

This means along with the doubles dater badge, participants at this Doubles Night will also have a chance at earning the smash trivia amateur, smash trivia veteran, and smash trivia expert badges! We hope to see a good turnout of people next week, and hope everyone is looking forward to this upcoming Doubles Night! ^^

Do you have ideas for articles for AllisBrawl?  Looking to try out your writing skills?  Maybe you just think you're better than the Content Team?

Well then, this is the moment you've been waiting for.  As of right now, you may submit any articles you think merit being posted to the front page of AllisBrawl to me, Miles of SmashWiki.  Just send me a PM for the full details. We don't take suggestions; we take drafts. Any submissions will of course be fully credited to their author(s).

Let me preemptively answer a few of your questions and comments, hm?

"Is it really that simple?"  The answer, of course, is yes.

"What can my article be about?"  Your article can be about whatever you want, within reason.  While we would obviously look for articles that relate to Smash or AiB itself, submissions can be about other topics as well.  Note that if an article is about something too distant from what this site covers, however, it will not be selected.

"But Miles, I'm not qualified to join the Content Team!" or maybe "But Miles, I don't have the time to commit to joining the Content Team!"  This asks you to do neither.  This request for submissions is understood as a chance to give other members of the community besides the Content Team to write articles for this site.

"Is nealdt really OK with you doing something this ridiculous?"

nealdt: "Yes. "

Welcome to the eleventh weekly All is Brawl Scavenger Hunt Answers and Winners article. This week's questions were fairly easy but there were not that many participants. We had 5 winners this week, so I will try to make the questions much harder next week. This weeks winner's who will get their own Scavenger Hunt Badge are...

Well, I must say I'm satisfied that activity went up for Question of the Week. As a reward-like thing, I'll post this up a day early. Badges will be rewarded this time, unlike last time. Either way, I'm sorry for last week, but I kind of hope this continues for a little bit longer. But enough rambling, let's get started!

Every Sunday when I feel like doing this, a new Question of the Week article will be posted containing the week's new questions and previous Question of the Week's answers (not applicable to this Question of the Week, obviously ). The questions for each of the Question of the Week articles will be chosen will be by you, the community (also not applicable to this Question of the Week); how you can suggest a new question for the next Question of the Week will be outlined later.

A few guidelines to remember about Question of the Week:

- To reiterate, the answers to the previous Question of the Week will be posted in the same article that contains the new questions. Do not pester me to tell you what the best answers were to the previous Question of the Week, please!

- None of the questions will have a direct answer. When you're thinking up your answer, make sure you're creative with it! All of the answers will be judged on how creative your answer is. How clever, witty, and/or funny the answer is will heavily influence your chances of having the best answer! Obviously, the answer must pertain to the question too.  I don't want answers that have nothing to do with the question, please.

- The questions that are featured could be of any appropriate topic (that means keep your inappropriate questions away, naughty people ;p). The questions may be completely random questions, such as "red or blue"" or the questions could be serious, opinion-based questions, like "pro-ban or anti-ban?" (And the pro-ban vs anti-ban will NEVER be a featured question, so do not suggest it, sorry).

Want to learn how you can suggest a question for future Question of the Weeks? There is only one way you can suggest now;

- Send Umbre ( http://allisbrawl.com/message.aspx?toid=7251 ) a PM on AiB.

Any and all suggestions not sent through this one method will be ignored! Do not send them to me via any other way, nor should you send the suggestions to anyone else other than myself.

The questions that are suggested will be given credit to the people who asked them!

Now, I have gone through all of the answers in the last QotW (QotW = Question of the Week, for you no-brainers ;p), and have selected the answers I felt were the best (in my opinion, of course). I will not tolerate complaining about how your answer or question was not chosen, nor will I tolerate complaining about the questions/answers that were chosen! Remember, key phrase is "in my opinion."

Obviously, winner comes first!;

"Brawl would clearly be Neapolitan ice cream.

The strawberry is the fanservice-ness of the game: characters, stages, items... all the hype that got people to buy the game.

The chocolate is the Smash-ness of it: the delicious touches on all of the characters and the soundtrack. All of the little things that some people don't notice is in this category -- it's the stuff that makes Smash great.

The vanilla is the tournament-reduced version of Brawl: it's still Smash/ice cream, but it's so boring and minimalized that it's not that interesting." - Miles of SmashWiki

Then those runner-ups;

"You can't tell because in Florida, it's so hot that the ice cream's melted, and all the original flavors have been blended together into a nice, creamy, somewhat-cold, always refreshing drink, sort of like all components of Brawl blend together into one amazing game. Oh, and there's nuts, to represent the nuts there are in the Brawl community (in a good way, like Phantom Wings is nuts, M2K and Ally are nuts, etc)." - Y Q

Brawl would be Vanilla. It's plain, simple, and alot of people like it. Some people don't like Vanilla, just like some people don't like brawl. Others like to add stuff like chocolate sauce to their vanilla ice cream, just like Brawl+ and BBrawl.

There's a reason they call it "Vanilla Brawl"." - Blue Yoshi

"Brawl is Rocky Road Ice Cream.

You're so used to regular chocolate ice cream, and when you first tried Rocky Road you were pretty unhappy. But your friends liked it so much and said the same happened to them too. So you give it another chance and viola, you're taking Rocky Road instead of Chocolate to parties because Chocolate is so last generation." - Krystedez

Now for the selected question!

Wait...what's this?

I'm gonna be nice and choose two questions to feature!

"If you could add ANY item to brawl what would it be?  Describe its effect." - DonkeyKongUh

"If Smash wasn't made by Nintendo, what company would've made it and what would it be like?" - TheXVoltage

Even though I featured two questions, you do not have to answer both. You can answer either one.

With that, this QotW is a go!
