When they came here, we saw them play for money and they took MK to a new level of gayness. How are you not understanding this? I predicted that they only would play gay for money, and I was right. Only MK was able to stop MK at this, other than Nietono because he's just that good (plus I think America sucks at the Olimar MU).
As for Rain, Rain didn't beat everyone at this, did he? No. Neitono still got top 2, and Otori won with a really close to Japanese stage list ruleset. So stop trying to use that as an argument. Their ruleset does NOT help make MK less gay enough. Did you not watch the tourney? I sure did, I was there. For doubles, Winners and Grand Finals were quad MK. For singles, both winners semis were MK dittos, and winners/losers finals were also MK dittos. Everyone said no Brinstar and RC would not make MK as dominant. |

They played super gay with MK (minus Nietono, though Nairo beat him easily in winners) and did it better than M2K ever has, because like I said 9000 times, they never had incentive to play that gay until Apex where MONEY is on the line. If anything, this just shows that banning Brinstar or RC does pretty much nothing stop overall MK dominance and problems.
In short: What the Japanese showed us at this is when they have the incentive to play super gay (Apex money says hi), they can do it and can do it better than us. They pushed MK to even further limits than we ever seen, further showing more of a reason to warrant a ban (even if it was still hyped as hell). |
