Favorite games:Love Scify and Fantasy settings the most, especially ones that have complex and intelligent settings. Metroid Prime, Deus Ex, Mass Effect, Rift, Everquest 2, Elder Scrolls, Portal are some! And of course Smash (mostly brawl, I love melee I just suck at the advanced techs heh). I'm a pretty avid gamer tbh :) I'm usually stuck on something! But I like other things too: reading, movies, oceans, space, I tend to be really curious and have phases where I explore different subjects all the time.

About me:
I think one of the most appealing things to me about the Smash series on a mechanical level is the unique (less linear) approach to a fighter, and being able to take characters from some of the games I love and try to explore their potential. icon_smile I love when players really get into characters they connect to personally, and its always been these players that have really inspired me the most when I played smash. One of the more frustrating aspects of the latest installment has been character balancing though, and lack of viable diversity. Skill comparisons on an equal playing field in some respect are lost and even ended up being avoided. Still despite all that I had a blast learning and being involved with the Northern California brawl scene! Competitions are a ton of fun, and I especially love some of the hype that surrounds matchups and the atmosphere of some of the larger tourneys. Even after I left the competitive scene, playing smash with friends (although rarely) has been awesome in a lot of different ways too- less pressure, less abusive tactics, its more relaxed but it can be a lot of fun too. It feels absolutely amazing to impress someone by pulling off a fancy samus combo or charge beam blast icon_biggrin
