Yeah, as many have guessed (maybe you did too), I am quite the nerd. Video games, anime, you name it.
But first, let's go over my ACTUAL life. I am a sports announcer for various sports and at various locations, 5 different sports for my old high school, and I have done other regional and national tournaments. I am also a storm spotter for the National Weather Service and I am my own independent storm chaser (tornadoes are cool!). I am also an assistant football coach for the same high school. When I have nothing better to, time to pull out the games or anime!
Now for my nerdy life. Video games have been apart of my life since I was 3, or 1991. The first game I ever played was Super Mario 3 for the NES, and at age 3, I managed to beat it in a quite large amount of time. I started watching anime at the age of 12, when my bro showed me Princess Mononoke, which by the way, is a great movie. I am considered one of the experts of Final Fantasy VII, although my problem is still properly breeding chocobos. I play a good bit of Battlefield 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2, StarCraft, and occasionally, Roller Coaster Tycoon.
I do watch a good share of anime. Favorite shows include: Maburaho, Shuffle, Trigun, Shakugan no Shana, Last Exile, and quite a bit more... and I am always looking for new shows to watch. Have any? Please suggest below!
As for my life around Smash, I have been smashing for 8 years, and played competitively for 5, when I went to my first tournament, MELEE-FC. Ever since, I have gone to most FC events, except for 1. Basically, I suck at Melee, finishing my career there at 3-17. Brawl has been a good turn around, quite the game to play, although I still, like many people, still commit small mistakes that tend to cost me a game. Hey, it happens! |
