Mega Man 9: Splash Woman. She's easy. lolz. She takes 2 damage per shot from your regular Mega Buster.
Mega Man 10: I personally went Nitro Man. He does have an E-Tank in his Stage just in case. Pump Man is an ok alternate start as well.

hard to determine the distance. Can't really comment much with Plug Ball. It can be sort of situational. Mega Man 9 does a good job in using Special Weapons to get through areas aside from saving them for Bosses of course.

Mega Man 10 is surprisingly easy for the most part, especially on Easy Mode.

Mega Man 9 is as tough as they come (Inti Creates developed it made the Mega Man Zero series, that's one thing to keep in mind concerning difficulty).
They modeled it after Mega Man 2 by design.

Laser Trident is an overall great weapon that can cut through multiple enemies and it's strong, I like using it as my Weapon of choice. Jewel Satellite is the best shield in the series, you can run though some levels in certain areas where small enemies will die in a single hit. Tornado Hold allows you to jump high when you first fire it. Hornet Chaser is another great overall weapon that not only homes in on the enemy, but it can also retrieve items for you. Magma Bazooka is chargeable. Blackhole Bomb is great for getting rid of annoying enemies like the mine enemies in the water. Concrete Shot uses up a lot of energy but it's quite versatile in making platforms, hardening lava streams (think Quick Man lasers from Mega Man 2) and it stops these annoying laser trap levels in the last level though it's hard to de
