| About me: | Hello there, you've stumbled upon my profile and bothered to read it! I'm blu link, call me blu for short, or Dan. Dan works nicely too. My experience with Smash started with Melee, using Link purely because he had a sword and shield; my current obsession at the time was knights, the medieval ages, etc. Eventually I got into the rest of the Legend of Zelda series, and I'm proud to call myself a fan boy. I wasn't very good at Melee, only being around 9 or 10 when the competitive scene was at it's peak; I was clueless.
When Brawl was announced, boy was I excited. Watching Link take on his new, Twilight Princess appearance was just mindblowing to watch in the trailer (despite the glitchy Melee Link model used, which had the sword and shield on his back and in his hands). I followed the Dojo religously, and scoured Youtube everyday after school. During Pre-Algebra, I would hum the song so loud, classmates would stare. I didn't care. Brawl was coming.
A few months after Brawl's release, I got involved with the Smash scene, on the Link boards. I remember johning about the Falco match up. Not as bad as it is today. I learned a lot, and made friends, brothers in arms against high tiers/haters/TL.
After about a year, I was grounded for bad grades (ironically thanks to Brawl) and couldn't play Brawl for about 4 months. This generally deterred me from the game and I was on hiatus for months. On and off, off and on. This time, however, I think I'm about back for good.
I'm having too much fun with P:M and forgot how awesome my fellow Link mains are. It's a pleasure chatting with this guys and playing this game.

Aw yeah! Since my original profile info/about me thing, my taste in music was pretty limited. However, it has expanded marginally since.
