The entrants viewer section of the event editor allows you add and remove entrants to/from your event. You can also track entry fees from this window.
You can add existing players to your event or create new ones and add them in one step.
The top-most list of players shows all players from the global players list. These players have not necessarily entered the current event; those that have will show a "Yes" under the "Entered?" column. Players from this list can be entered into the event by double-clicking them, or by selecting them (multi-select with the Control and Shift keys allowed) and clicking the Add button.
You can also create new players and add them to the event in one action using the "Add New Player" section to the right of the player list:
The "amount paid" field will tag the new player as having paid an entry fee. Unlike the others, this field will not reset after adding an entrant, so you will not need to repeatedly set the amount paid section for each entrant.
Players can be added after a bracket has already been created, in which case they will replace a Bye in the bracket. In a round-robin bracket, the player will be placed in the pool with the least number of players.
Tip: you can press the Enter key while typing in one of the "Add New Player" input areas to trigger the "Add" button without having to click it. Input focus will return to the "Nickname" text area so you can immediately type the next player's nickname.
Tip: when entering teams, you can give the names of the team's players by entering them into the Players text area separated by a plus sign (example: "Champ + Neal").
To remove a player as an entrant, simply select them in the entrant list and press the Delete key on your keyboard, or right click them and select "remove entrant". The player will be replaced with a Bye in the bracket if one has been created.
You can change the amount paid by an entrant by right clicking on their name in the lower entrants list and selecting "set payment amount". This operation can be performed on multiple entrants by using the Shift and Control keys along with the mouse to select several entrants and then right-clicking on one of them.
You can also double-click on a particular entrant to set their payment amount to the full entry fee of the event. Double clicking a second time will set their fee back to 0.
You can edit the nickname, name, location, or skill of a player by right-clicking in either list and selecting "edit information". This will expose an editor letting you change their information like you can on the players editor.
