A tournament being hosted in Long Beach by Team INSO. Not too familiar with "Team INSO," but I'm friends with the leaders of it. They're hosting a UMVC3 tournament and they asked me if I would be willing to help them run a Brawl tournament along side their UMVC3 tournament. Sounded like a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon, so I accepted. Might consider Melee in the future, but for now, just Brawl and UMVC3.

Had a couple people ask this, so I'm putting it at the top. Metaknight is banned in both singles and doubles. In the event that MK is randomly selected via "random," that player must restart the match with a different randomly selected character.

Sign ups start at 11:00AM, sign ups end at 12:15PM. Tournament starts at 12:30PM. Tournament ends at 5:00PM.

THIS IS IMPORTANT, HENCE THE CAPS, SO MAKE SURE TO READ THIS: I WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY MORE PLAYER SIGN UPS AFTER 12:!5PM. Even if you're a major player like Tyrant, MikeHaze, DEHF, RichBrown, or any of the other current and former SoCal PR players, I will not let you enter. Period. The tournament MUST end at 5:00pm, so I'm not waiting on anyone.

We're going to be using the Unity ruleset. MK is banned, etc:

Tentative tournament entry is $5 singles, $5 doubles, $3 venue fee. No higher than that.

If you bring a set up, venue is taken off.

Hey guys, so I want to try and advertise this as much as possible, but I'm not very good at it and I don't have tons of time, so here's the deal: whoever recruits the most players to come to this tournament gets their entrance fee paid off for both singles and doubles. It'll be on me. Here are the rules to this:

Invite someone to the Long Beach Brawl tournament page, and tell them to post in the comments that you were the one who invited them. Make sure they click "attending." If they show up to the tournament and confirm that you invited them, I'll take note of it. Whoever has the most recruited entrants by the time the tournament starts will be the winner of this mini-contest.

Note: you must recruit a minimum of 5 players to be eligible for receiving free entrance into both events.

If there's a lot of recruiting going on, I'll consider a second place prize for the person who recruits the second most amount of people.
