Last tournament it was a crazy cash explosion tournament in the special edition of Coin Runners for Mario Kart 7; in the end Souji ended up getting 1st place by making a mad dash for the money, Thunda invested wisely and took 2nd place, a random person by the name of Teo came out of nowhere to take 3rd place, and Falcon once again clinched 4th place. Anyway welcome to the fifth and final race of the Nocte Cup where some mighty battles are about to heat up, ARRRGH!
THE NOCTE CUP
Birthday Cake [Rukia]
Death Island [Shádo]
Bay City [Brandon]
Mayhem Manor [RunC.T.]
Caribbean Retreat [Koop]
Cup Track Is Found In: Nocte Cup
Track Name: Caribbean Retreat
Track Origin: After being threatened with my life by pirates… I mean bargained by pirates I was forced to… I mean persuaded to use their hide-out “The Caribbean Retreat” as the last race of the Nocte Cup. I do have to credit the pirates though as the Caribbean Retreat has many hidden shortcuts and traps making the track hectic.
Track Description: The track starts off going straight on a tight road and then going left and arcing right until you each the flooded beach. At the beach you go straight and make a tight curve left twice, do not go out too far or you’ll fall into the ocean. Then go straight into a stone tunnel and after a few feet turn right and head straight until you exit the tunnel. Afterwards you head a slanted right and off a hill with boost pads over a river. Then after landing you made a slight right through two more rivers and back to land. After that you go left passing the crowds and head on a slanted left passing a switch to activate another shortcut. Then you head straight and arc right to the dock where you go uphill to the top of the sunken oil ship and go off boost pads to the bottom of the dock and back to land. Here you go left and arc right on three possible track patches. After the long arc you head straight past huts that have hidden flames nearby and make a left turn. After that you go straight passing bigger huts and arc right past the ocean and make a quick left. After that you reach a long straightaway known as the “Pirate’s Gauntlet” where you must dodge fire, barrels, beach umbrellas, barriers and other weapons as you are on the dangerous straightaway. After that straightaway you make a left turn and a wide arc left passing a pond and some huts. After that you head straight towards a dock and go uphill off boost panels and back to the start. There are too many shortcuts on the track to list, but most of them involve going off of ramps to higher levels of the tracks and going on the inside of the track as well as one shortcut that has boost panels and skips the “Pirate’s Gauntlet” section of the track.
