Description

Last tournament was a showdown with using Wario On the Wario Bike, there were many crazy moments and mishaps throughout the chaotic tournament and it seemed like that everyone was getting killed. After the craziness, a random guy named Marq managed to come out of nowhere and sieze 1st place, Thunda won the tiebreaker and ended up getting 2nd place, Falcon gut stuck into 3rd place, and SAS was plopped into 4th place. Anyway welcome to SuperStar Showdown #20 which is about the guy who doesn’t like to play in WorldWides:

Name Of SuperStar: Lethal
Character + Vehicle Combo: Funky/Waluigi + Flame Runner
Favorite Track: GBA Bowser Castle 3
Allies: Casey. Nick, VenoM, Koopa, Crusher, Dee, Falcon, SAS, Kyle
Rivals/Enemies: Angel, Kanae, Quinn, Yankees
First Tournament Appearance: MKWii Bash 9
Role In Future Video Games:

Role In Doomsday RPG: [No Special Role]

Role In Falcon Party: Lethal is a playable character in Falcon Party, he is represented by the color, Crimson and his helper is his hacker friend, VenoM.

Title Origin: The title of this tournament is a reference to Lethal’s famous video series on Youtube known as “Why I Don’t Play WorldWides” which is a montage featuring Lethal’s failures when racing in Mario Kart Wii worldwides.

Brief History: I first met Lethal through one of my older friends and former crew member, Paco. Me and Lethal both liked Paco’s AMVs and after I saw him comment on how many of Paco’s videos I checked out his channel and liked his Melee videos so I subscribed to him and became friends with him as well. One day I noticed Lethal had Mario Kart DS Videos on his Youtube channel and I asked him if he had MKW since I was still playing it with my former crew memers, Lethal said he had the game, but no online play so we could not race. After that I forgot about Lethal for the most part; however, I did watch some of his glitch videos about New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 2 which were neat. One day in December (2010) I saw that Lethal started up his own MKW Wi-Fi Race Series, remembering how he previously had no wi-fi, I asked him if he wanted to race and I added him to my friend list, one of the first times I raced Lethal was in the MKWii Bash 9 Tournament which he joined unaware of it being a tournament, but he had fun and thought my friends were chaotic racers. Lethal met SAS, Jesse, Kyle, and Kanae through my tournaments and I met some of my tournament competitors (Thunda, Yankees, and Crusher) through the races I did with Lethal in WorldWides. Lethal is mostly known for his Why I Don’t Play WorldWide Series which is a montage of all his failures and screw-ups in Mario Kart Wii, I even appeared in the final edition of the series. Other then his Why I Don’t Play WorldWide Series, Lethal had created a 40 part Wi-Fi Race Series featuring many hectic races. After the 40th part though he quit MKW and moved on to MK7 and other projects. Lethal occasionally came to my MKW Tournaments and his best performance was in the Christmas Cup where he placed 5th in the Singles Event and 2nd in the Miis Only Event. I hardly chat with Lethal, but I still check out his Youtube channel and I am still friends with him.

Special Rule (Spears Only):
-You can only pick the Spear.
-You can only choose Wario, Waluigi, Donkey Kong, Bowser, King Boo, Rosalina, Funky Kong, Dry Bowser or a Heavyweight Mii.

Rules:
-No hacking or glitching.
-No glitch shortcuts (If you have a question what a glitch is and what is not just ask).
-No repicking a track for one GP (4 Races).
-YOU CAN ONLY PICK A HEAVYWEIGHT CHARACTER WITH THE SPEAR.

So those are the rules, good luck, have fun, and remember that having max speed won't always be a good thing, especially with the Spear.

While this tournament is scheduled to be tomorrow at 8 PM Eastern, 7 PM Central (unless you live in another time zone); the date may change, at this point my schedule has been random and unexpected and due to unforeseen circumstances I may have to postpone this, mostly due to these three reasons.

1. My Grandmother: She is currently in the hospital in critical condition, the doctors really have no idea about whether she will make it or not and then there are other conflicts regarding her so if I need to go see her then there is a chance I won't be home to host this.

2. Storms: There are supposed to be thunderstorms where I live today and tomorrow, while these aren't too bad, my house has a really good chance of losing power when there are storms -_-, so if the power is out I can't really do anything.

3. Laptop attacks: This isn't the worst thing here, but lately my laptop has been getting remote attacks which causes the screen to go black, freeze, and make these annoying beep noises; in the event this happens before or during the tournament I will use my brother's laptop as back-up and make a back-up Skype contact (probably Solar) for the tournament on Skype.

The tournament isn't going to be postponed yet, but I have very little control over Scenarios 1 and 2 and while I do have control over Scenario 3 it will complicate things a little bit. So i'm excited that there are a lot of people that are entering this and if i'm unable to host it at the time I mentioned I will try to reschedule it to next week or something. So sorry if I am unable to host the tournament tomorrow at the mentioned time, I will try, but can't make any promises at this point.
